La Paz, Baja California Sur (BCS). The second edition of the Entrepreneurial Leaders Program concluded successfully in La Paz , strengthening the entrepreneurial spirit among young people and adults in the municipality. This program, held at the Municipal Entrepreneur's House, seeks to develop ideas, projects, and skills that positively impact local communities.
The program is part of the initiatives consolidating La Paz as a member of the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities. This initiative reinforces the City Council's commitment to education, entrepreneurship, and local economic development. During the closing ceremony, Carla Jonguitud Mendarozqueta, head of the General Directorate of Well-being and Economic Development, highlighted the effort and dedication of the participants, as well as the support they received during their training.
Representing Mayor Milena Quiroga Romero , Jonguitud Mendarozqueta stated, “ Programs like this reflect the effort to build a more participatory, innovative, and resilient municipality .” Additionally, Juan Antonio Yuen, Director of Economic Development, participated as a jury in the final project evaluation phase.
The top three winners in this generation were Repostería Deleité, which took first place, followed by Urania Adventures in second place, and Oceageno in third place . These projects will be publicly recognized on May 14th during the Entrepreneur Forum, an event organized by the municipal department to promote the exchange of experiences, ideas, and collaborative networks among entrepreneurs.
The success of this second edition of the Entrepreneurial Leaders Program underscores the importance of initiatives that promote economic and social development through entrepreneurship, consolidating La Paz as a benchmark in the training of entrepreneurial leaders.
