The Cave of the Two Windows is a must-see destination on Espiritu Santo Island, La Paz. Accessible only by sea and after a hike, this geological formation offers spectacular views of the Sea of Cortez through its two natural openings. It is vital to visit with certified guides, as it is a Natural Protected Area requiring special permits for tourism.

An initiative called "Nuestro Futuro" (Our Future), driven by local leaders in BCS and the Pacific Whale Foundation, seeks to have Mexico recognize whales as "non-human persons" and grant them Rights of Nature.
