The La Paz City Council has announced the launch of a public consultation to prepare the 2026 Participatory Budget .
This process seeks to encourage active community participation in the allocation of public resources, allowing citizens to propose and decide on projects that directly impact their neighborhoods and communities.
The consultation will take place from June 1 to 30, 2025, both in person at the modules installed in various areas of the city, and online through the City Council's official website.
Participation is expected from civil organizations, neighborhood committees, and citizens interested in proposing initiatives in areas such as infrastructure, security, culture, and the environment.
The municipal government has highlighted the importance of this democratic exercise to strengthen transparency and co-responsibility in public management.
The selected projects will be included in next year's budget, ensuring that citizens' priorities are reflected in local public policies.
