BCS Congress demands that ISSSTE address the medical personnel and medication crisis.

Lawmakers have pointed out that the current situation puts the health of thousands of South Californians who depend on ISSSTE for timely, quality medical care at risk.



The Baja California Sur State Congress has issued a strong call to the Director General of ISSSTE , Martí Batres , to take immediate action in response to the crisis facing beneficiaries in the state.


The parliamentary faction of the New Alliance Party , represented by Representative Lourdes Cornejo Rendón and Representative Martín Escogido Flores , has highlighted the lack of medical personnel and the shortage of medicines as critical problems that require urgent attention.


Lawmakers have pointed out that the current situation puts the health of thousands of South Californians who depend on ISSSTE for timely, quality medical care at risk.


They have also urged federal authorities to implement concrete measures to address these problems, including hiring additional medical personnel and ensuring adequate supplies of essential medications.


This call adds to the concerns expressed by various sectors of civil society, which have denounced the precariousness of the health services provided by ISSSTE in Baja California Sur .


Federal authorities are expected to respond to this request and take action to improve health care in the region.
