The setting for this victory was Infomatrix South America 2025, a high-level competition that brings together the brightest young minds from across the continent. The event was held in the historic city of Quito, Ecuador, and served as a platform for students to present their innovative projects to a panel of internationally renowned experts.

Camila Cenyeliztli competed in one of the toughest and most technologically booming categories: "Software Development." Her proposal was an innovative project titled "T-Less." This project, the result of hours of work, research, and dedication, demonstrated the Sudcalifornian student's capability and technical knowledge in developing new technologies.

The "T-Less" project consists of a video game, a format that combines creative elements with a complex programming structure. The software was rigorously and exhaustively evaluated by the international expert panel that served as the competition's jury. The judges analyzed key aspects such as innovation, functionality, design, and the video game's potential.

After the experts' deliberation, the "T-Less" project was recognized for its outstanding quality and originality among the works presented. Camila Jiménez was awarded the gold medal, the competition's highest honor in her category. This triumph is a testament to her personal effort and the high academic level fostered at COBCS.

The young student's success was not limited to the gold medal, which is already a monumental achievement in itself. Along with the first-place continental finish, Camila earned the official accreditation for the next great challenge: the Infomatrix world finals. This global event will bring together the best youth technological development projects from all continents.

The world final, which now has a representative from La Paz in its ranks, will take place in the city of Bucharest, Romania. The event is scheduled for 2026, giving Camila valuable time to perfect, polish, and further prepare her "T-Less" project. In this future competition, she will measure herself against the world's elite in software development.

The journey to this international success and the trip to Ecuador would not have been possible without the support of the local community and institutions in La Paz. The La Paz City Council, led by Milena Quiroga Romero, played a decisive role. The municipal administration provided the necessary financial support so that Camila Cenyeliztli could cover the travel expenses and represent her country.

The management of this fundamental support was channeled through the Municipal Youth Directorate. The head of this agency, Zamara Fiol, was a key piece in ensuring the young talent had the resources needed. Thanks to this, she was able to represent not only Baja California Sur but all of Mexico on this important South American scientific platform.

Following the triumph, Zamara Fiol extended her sincerest congratulations to the student for her extraordinary and outstanding performance. The director publicly recognized Camila's dedication, effort, and talent. She also reiterated the municipal administration's commitment to continue promoting and supporting the municipality's young promising talents in their academic, scientific, and sporting projects.
