More than 100,000 children celebrate Children's Day in Baja California Sur with recreational and cultural activities.

This April 30, more than 100,000 children in early childhood, preschool, and primary education celebrate Children's Day throughout Baja California Sur .


The State Secretariat of Public Education organized a festive event in more than 600 schools, including festivals, games, plays, contests, film screenings, and refreshments.

The head of the state SEP, Jorge Hurtado , emphasized that this date is key to promoting values such as respect, creativity, and inclusion from an early age.


Messages about children's rights, bullying prevention, and healthy coexistence were also promoted in various schools.


In La Paz , Los Cabos and Comondú, game fairs and puppet shows were held in collaboration with cultural centers and DIF centers .


The day will culminate with outdoor children's concerts and family activities in public spaces such as Cuauhtémoc Park and the coastal boardwalk.


Educational authorities thanked mothers, fathers, and teachers for their active participation in this symbolic date, which commemorates the importance of building happy and safe school environments for children.
