The La Paz City Council, led by Mayor Milena Quiroga Romero, has completed the renovation of five recreational parks in different neighborhoods of the municipality, allocating an investment of more than 32 million pesos from federal funds.

Rehabilitation work was carried out in the Ayuntamiento, Guadalupe Victoria, Flores Magón, Monte Sinaí, and Ciudad del Cielo neighborhoods. In the first two, sports fields with synthetic turf, playgrounds, calisthenics areas, street lighting, irrigation systems, and signage were installed.

In the Flores Magón, Monte Sinaí and Ciudad del Cielo neighborhoods, the parks were transformed into comprehensive environments for neighborhood coexistence, including street furniture, vegetation, restrooms, lighting and recreational areas.

Mayor Milena Quiroga emphasized that the restoration of these previously deteriorated spaces represents a boost to the social development of the benefited neighborhoods, promoting physical activity and healthy coexistence among children and young people in the municipality.
