Everything is ready for the 2025 La Paz Foundation Celebrations

The security and civil protection operation is ready and includes surveillance, scheduled road closures, and hydration stations.

The La Paz City Council announced that the program of activities for the traditional Foundation Festival , which will be held from May 2 to 5 on the seafront and various other points in the city, is now ready .

This event commemorates the founding of the capital of South California with a cultural and artistic offering that includes outdoor concerts, workshops, traditional dances, food samples, art exhibitions, and historical tours of the city center.

Municipal President Milena Quiroga stated that a significant economic impact is expected for local businesses and that more than 20,000 people will attend over the four days. Confirmed artists include regional talents and guest groups from other states.

There will also be children's spaces, sports activities, and a cultural caravan that will tour working-class neighborhoods. The Foundation Festival is one of La Paz 's most iconic celebrations , and this year it seeks to highlight the local identity under the slogan "Proud to be from La Paz."
