38 business robberies reported in April in Baja California Sur

So far this year, 139 investigations have been opened for business robberies in the state, with January being the month with the highest incidence.

According to the common law crime incidence report, 38 business robberies were reported in Baja California Sur in April , two of which were committed with violence.


Authorities have emphasized the importance of strengthening security measures and encouraging citizen reporting to combat this type of crime.


So far this year, 139 investigations have been opened for business robberies in the state, with January being the month with the highest incidence.


Compared to the same period last year, there has been a decrease in this type of crime, indicating progress in the security strategies implemented.


However, La Paz and Los Cabos accounted for more than 80% of the business robberies recorded in the state during the first quarter of 2025, reflecting the need to continue strengthening prevention and surveillance efforts in these areas.


Authorities are urging citizens to report any suspicious activity and cooperate with security forces to maintain peace and order in the community.
