The Gentle Giant of La Paz: How big are the whale sharks that visit the bay?
La Paz Bay is considered a whale shark "nursery," as most of the specimens that visit are juveniles, measuring between 2 and 6 meters. Although the species can reach 22 meters, the bay offers a safe refuge for their growth, attracting thousands of tourists in an activity regulated by CONANP.

Exceptional Find in Los Cabos: Leatherback Turtle Nest with 65 Eggs Secured in La Ribera
A nest of a Leatherback turtle, the world's largest species and in danger of extinction, was located and secured by CONANP in La Ribera, Los Cabos. This exceptional find, occurring in the Cabo Pulmo area, contained 65 eggs that are now under protection. The event highlights the importance of BCS as a sanctuary for marine biodiversity.
