And when that celebration happens by the sea, in a community, the result is more than just fun: it's the city that vibrates .

A few weeks ago—with the sand between my toes and the sound of the waves in the background—I talked about walking along the beach, that daily ritual that heals the soul and reconnects with the pulse of the city. Today I want to close the image: imagine that same boardwalk, but this time filled with laughter, drumbeats, and bodies moving to the collective rhythm.

Last Saturday, hundreds of young people and couples gathered at Juven Fest 2025 , an open-air music festival set up by the sea, where the sand—without sand—became a dance floor and the horizon witnessed urban chords, artisanal food, and alternative sales exhibitions.

Why does it make sense to highlight it here? Because it's the other side of that walk along the shore: where there are solitary steps in the morning, there is communal dancing in the afternoon. Juven Fest isn't just about urban music: it's a generational gathering that blends youthful tradition, local design, conscious consumption, and—very importantly—music with a La Paz identity. Seeing people enjoying themselves in front of the Gulf of California reminded me how strong this city is when it comes to accessible, free, and joyful culture.

Just a couple of days away, La Paz is gearing up for more: the Summer Solstice Music Festival brings free street concerts this Sunday, June 21—a French offering already making waves in Camino Real Park—with styles ranging from dance to folk and light electronica.

It's going to be one of those events where adults and children share the space, time, and enjoyment without tickets or exclusions.

From the perspective of someone walking with the breeze on their face, the contrast between a solitary stroll and those days of lively squares reveals something: La Paz is not just explored, it is celebrated .

And when that celebration happens by the sea, in a community, the result is more than just fun: it's the city that vibrates .

So, if you walked alone a few weeks ago, this weekend I invite you to walk among people. Because the sea calls differently when there's someone else singing with you.
