"Maja El Grande" Shore Fishing Tournament Returns to the Municipality of La Paz; Todos Santos to Host

La Paz, Baja California Sur.- Sportfishing, one of the region's most emblematic activities, is preparing for a stellar event in the municipality of La Paz. The return of the "Maja El Grande" shore fishing tournament has been announced, set to take place in the "Pueblo Mágico" (Magical Town) of Todos Santos.

The competition, which has established itself as a tradition for local and visiting fans, will be held on November 16th and 17th.


This event is organized by the "Pesca de Orilla BCS" group, with key support from the Municipal Tourism Directorate of La Paz, headed by Mavi Fenech.


The tournament not only promotes sport and family time but also serves as an important driver for tourism in Todos Santos. The competition attracts visitors at the beginning of the high season, generating significant economic benefits for local restaurants and hotels.


A large turnout of competitors is expected, all seeking to take first place from the beaches of this popular tourist destination.


Organizers emphasized that "Maja El Grande" is an event that celebrates the fishing culture in Baja California Sur and promotes the recreational and sustainable use of the municipality's coastal resources.
